Always Last is a melodic punk rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The band took its form in late 2007. The band consists of different individuals who used to play or still playing in different bands. Tobek (previously in Fags & Stoned), Bulat (Part Time Lovers/Galaga/Hi-Score), Min (Skunkfix/Naratu/Thy Regimen) and Shah (The Mindless Show/Disgruntled).
This is their debut full length album with 15 tracks recorded. Good sound engineering thrown here. And it par beyond compare to other bands from Malaysia.
Antidote will not dissapointed you. Pop//melodic punk in more to American way. They have powerful and intense live set too.

Choose Your Poison - laid to waste CDEP RM16/8USD
Midwest represent!!!CYP deliver party thrash at its finest from the blood soaked alleyways of Appleton, Wisconsin. I am only a little confused as to why this gem is not on wax but teh answer is likely as simple as economic but as far as complaints got, mine start and stop on that point alone. this is killer crossover with a recording that reminds me of early COC (you know how the records were clearly played by punks but it sounded like the engineer had tried to make them sound like SLAYER with extra reverbs and its just sounded weird adn fucking awesome?yeah,its sound like that). Just four tunes here and my heart is theirs from the start with the "in basements we trust" and when "no tomorrow" whips its riffs arund my mind and the vicious whammy brings the short sweet disc to a close...i just smile..REVIEW TAKEN FROM SHORT FAST AND LOUD ZINE #21.
Crimescene s/t demo RM6 /5USD
You will have 8 songs demo from these sunway bear brigade dudes . Crimescene try to mix up powerviolence and stoner rock guitar riffage . With angry and tense vocal style . Beside being fed up with the current living setup , the band is 100 % against the moral propaganda set by the so called religious fundamental system . 4 way split tape with skitsofernia, disgrace, distrust, and incrust – Very good malaysian/singapore (asian) crust, dbeat bands combine together for this one release. Skitsofernia play raw old finnish style punk. Disgrace worship discharge and of course they throw some discharge tune. Distrust is an alco cider punk and lastly incrust play blitzkrieg trashing punk.
